The Jaap Schouten Foundation bestowed a custom award for the first time in 2019.

Award Works teamed up with the foundation board to create this honor, which was mandated by the founder in the statutes. Within two months – a real sprint – the award moved from a hope to a concept to an exciting award ceremony and celebration.

With the design of the Jaap Schouten Award in place, organization and costs for future awards will be minimized. And a vision of the founder has come vividly to life.

"There was time to network, but also to enjoy a buoyant program. The award celebration was a great success. It was a pleasure to be part of it."

Dignity Award

Dignity Award

As stated so clearly in the preamble of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

Recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.

A dignity award...
